Inn Offers Guests Complimentary Music, Storytelling and Guided Walks
Mike and Kathy Gwinn will entertain Buckhorn Inn guests with music and stories about the Great Smoky Mountains and its hills, hollows and people in April on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings, beginning April 8. Each hour long performance will begin at 6:00 p.m.
On Mondays and Wednesdays during Wildflower Season (March 17 through May 1), Innkeeper Lee Mellor will accompany guests on a guided walk along Porter's Creek, one of the most beautiful wildflower sites in the Park. Guests wishing to join the walk should gather in the Inn's dining room at 10:00 a.m. Day-before sign-up is required.
I just made reservations for June. I am a widow and have not been on vacation "by myself" ever! I Googled for a B&B in Gatlinburg and found Buckhorn among others. Buckhorn Inn looked exactly like what I was wanting (and needing). The private cottage, the views, the labyrinth all beckoned to me. I can't wait to experience my dream vacation.
We are traveling through with our two teenage boys. It is not clear from any information on the website how accommodation's work with kids. Looks like all rooms have one large (king) bed. Is there a sofa bed or something?
Please let us know and you may want to update your website.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bebb House on the July 4th weekend. The food at the Buckhorn Inn is absolutely amazing.

My wife and I just returned yesterday from the Buckhorn Inn. Everything was first class...from the folks, food, and facilities. It was much needed before our 2nd child arrives in a few weeks for our final getaway. Thanks so much for everything!
My husband and I just returned from a few days away, one of which we spent at the Buckhorn, and regretably so!
It is regretable that we will not wake up to another morning of such incredible views...regretable that we won't get to experience another scrumptuous breakfast served in such a genteel atmosphere...regretable that we will not spend another night getting a great night's sleep on a good mattress, amid charming surroundings...regretable that we'll have to wait a whole year before we can get back to the Buckhorn! We thoroughly enjoyed our (brief) stay!
We love your inn!!! We had a wonderful stay in the Tower and will be back! Thank you for an amazing trip!
We have avoided Gatlinburg for years although we love the Smokies and love to hike in them; however the traffic, crowds and craziness were fine when our children were small but no longer our cup of tea. Then our(now grown) children gave us a gift certificate to Buckhorn and we had the most wonderful time! Beautiful, quiet surroundings; unique gifts in the nearby craft village; fantastic meals with attention to detail I can only compare to meals in France; and a treehouse(Tower Room) to sleep in! Not to mention friendly and helpful staff. We will be back!
